Circus Workshops

Corie has been teaching circus for over 13years.  A master at breaking things down into their smallest parts, Corie excels at bringing beginners up to an intermediate level in their chosen area and is experienced working with students aged 2 years all the way up to Adults.

Juggling, unicycle, devil sticks, diabolo, skipping, trapeze, aerial silks, mini-tramp, stilts, handstands and tumbling are just some of the skills Corie has helped students to master.

Milk Crate Circus is excited to be offering a limited programme of outside-school-hours circus classes in 2023. See CIRCUS CLASSES

Schools can request a series of workshops to suit children from Kindergarten to Year 8. Milk Crate Circus will come to your school and coaches bring all the necessary equipment along.

Classes may be eligible for funding through Sporting Schools grants which can often cover most if not all fees for the program. Don't forget to request Milk Crate Circus as your preferred gymnastics provider in your Sporting Schools grant application.

Circus Play Space

Add a colourful interactive experience to your next event.

A circus play space is the perfect place for anyone with energy and curiosity to explore what they are capable of at their own pace.

We bring along all equipment and an expert circus coach to supervise and guide participants.

Also referred to locally as a "drop zone", a circus play space is an interactive icebreaker and an affordable way to give everyone a taste of circus.

Corie is also a skilled circus performer! Have you heard about his high skilled comedy circus show called Planet Lava developed especially to empower young children? Let us know if you'd like your circus play space to transform into into a pop-up circus stage!

Classes run for a minimum of 4 weeks for at least 40 minutes each and a competent gymnastics coach brings all of the necessary equipment with them on the day.

In four weeks a Milk Crate Circus programme aims to help children develop confidence in their ability to move with intention and to learn through movement. By the last lesson, children will safely perform preparation activities for movement sequences including jumps and landings, forward and backward rolls and cartwheels.
